A coffee from La Convención, Cusco

In Santa Ana, province of La Convención, Timoteo Avilés and Enrique Puma grow coffee on Finca La Capilla, at 1,850 meters above sea level. In this part of Cusco, coffee has been part of the landscape and daily life for generations. Here, every harvest begins long before the first cherry is picked: it begins with the patient care of the land.

An expression of origin

La Capilla is a farm surrounded by trees, where coffee shares space with other species that protect the soil and help keep the ecosystem in balance. That coexistence lets the crop move at nature's own pace, giving each harvest its own character.

Timoteo and Enrique work with traditional varieties like Caturra, Typica, and Bourbon, following a washed process that aims to respect what the origin already offers, without masking it.

With history, origin, and soil

Our coffee from Cusco is an expression of La Convención and of the people who keep growing coffee with patience, craft, and a deep bond with their land. A reminder that behind every coffee, there are real people who knew this land long before it ever reached your hands.

Tasting experience

A sweet, comforting cup, with notes of dried fig, walnut, and chocolate, alongside a sweetness reminiscent of chancaca (unrefined cane sugar). A balanced coffee, meant to be enjoyed without rushing.
